Mark is Senior Vice President, Head of Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) at Sionna. He brings more than 20 years of deep expertise in CMC strategy and development and has led integrated teams responsible for projects from pre-clinical development through post-approval lifecycle management.
Prior to Sionna, Mark held leadership roles at Blueprint Medicines, where he most recently led Pharmaceutical Sciences & Manufacturing. Earlier in his career, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Alkermes, Millennium Pharmaceuticals (Takeda Oncology), GlaxoSmithKline, and Merck, contributing to multiple clinical programs and commercial regulatory submissions. Mark received his Ph.D. in chemistry from North Carolina State University and his B.S. in chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
